2025 PREMIER PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE
Townsville Hockey in 2025 is continuing the exciting Pre-Season competition to engage our highest calibre players earlier in the year. The Premier Performance Challenge is a competition for our Senior Men and Women (must turn 15 by 31st Dec 25) aspiring to play Division 1 Club Hockey in Townsville and represent the city for the Hawthorn Shield and Open`s teams.
The PPC aims to create 4 x Men and 4 x Women mixed club based teams selected by a group of experienced coaches from the nominated players, further it hopes to allow variety to our playing season, increase player adaptability and exposure to different team dynamics and coaching styles.
This year the Premier Performance Challenge will run on Friday Nights for 3 weeks ONLY. It will start Friday 7th & finish on 21st February after the RUTH YOUNG GALA Day and before THA`s planned BIG FUN FAMILY sign on afternoon (Saturday 22nd)
