Townville Hockey 2024 Indoor Competition.
After the success of the 2023 Indoor season THA is endeavouring to continue Indoor hockey in 2024.
Indoor is a fast paced, exciting version of the sport with modified sticks, rules and boards for continuous play.
Like 2023 a 6 a side incl GK 10 week competition for both junior and seniors Early October- Late November in 2024 will hopefully be run and THA would like to invite all its members to join the FUN!

1st October - 26th Nov - Tuesdays 6-9pm Juniors (Subject to change)
3rd October - 28th Nov - Thursdays 6-9pm Seniors (Subject to change)
10 weeks season
JUNIORS
Tuesdays 6-9pm
Junior competition - Un14 & Un16s eligible -Potentially Mixed (depending in numbers)
DOB : 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009.
Individual nominations via portal by Monday 23rd September.
Teams will be designed as evenly as possible and will be non club based
4 games per night -allows for up to 8 teams
15 minute halves
6pm, 6:35, 7:10 and 7:45 time slots ( subject to change)
Regular Rounds with finals ( subject to change)
Volunteers will be needed to help co-ordinate teams and umpiring duties.
Costs will depend on player numbers but will need to cover venue hire.
It is anticipated to be between $10- $15 per player per week.
SENIORS
Thursdays 6-9pm
Senior competition- Un16s and above (Mixed & Divisions if numbers permit)
DOB: 2009 and above
Individual nominations via portal by Monday 23rd September.
Teams will be designed as evenly as possible and will be non club based
4 games per night -allows for up to 8 teams
20 minute halves
6pm, 6:45, 7:30 and 8:15 time slots ( subject to change)
Regular Rounds with finals (subject to change)
Volunteers will be needed to help co-ordinate teams and umpiring duties.
It is anticipated to be between $10-$12 per player per week.
Due to this all being new competition all of the above will depend HUGELY on interest and numbers and will need to be flexible.
